When you call Darrell Crews for an emergency pump-out, here's what to expect:
We'll ask you a few quick questions about what's happening so we can assess the situation and send the right equipment. No runaround, no hold music.
Emergency calls go to the top of the list. During business hours, we do everything we can to get to you the same day.
A proper emergency pump-out means emptying the tank, not just relieving the pressure. We use professional vacuum tanker trucks to remove all the waste so your system can recover.
After we pump, we'll give you a straight assessment of what caused the problem. If there's a minor repair we can handle, we'll tell you. If it's something beyond our scope, such as a drain field issue, we'll tell you that too so you can get the right help.
We know you didn't plan for this visit. We take care of the mess and leave things as clean as possible when we go.
We want to be upfront with you: our emergency septic pumping service is available during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are not a 24/7 operation.
If your emergency happens outside those hours, here's what we recommend: avoid using any water in the home, don't flush toilets or run any drains, and call us first thing when we open. In severe situations where sewage is actively backing up into living spaces, contact a plumber for temporary assistance with the backup itself while you wait for a septic company to address the tank.
We'd rather be honest about our availability than have you wait on hold with a company that can't actually get to you faster.
Over 20 years serving Northeast Florida. Darrell Crews has been in operation since 2003. When you call, you're getting an experienced, established company that knows Baker County and the surrounding area.
This isn't a national chain. Darrell Crews is a locally owned operation based right here in Baker County. You'll get the owner's crew, not a subcontractor dispatched from a call center.
We handle emergencies for homeowners and for businesses. If you're a restaurant with a grease trap problem or a municipality with a lift station issue, we have the equipment and experience to help.
We only recommend what you actually need. We will tell you if your problem is something we can fix and we will also tell you if it's not. That's the kind of straight talk that keeps people calling us back for over two decades.
We cover Baker County, Jacksonville, Macclenny, Sanderson, Fernandina Beach, Lake City, Middleburg, Starke, Mandarin, Glen St. Mary, and Baldwin. If you're not sure whether we come to your area, just call and ask.

If your septic system is acting up, don't wait and hope it resolves itself. A full septic tank won't fix itself, and putting it off usually makes the situation worse and more expensive.
